Concerts

Live sound engineering for concert performances is one of our core areas of expertise.

We place emphasis on producing natural and intimate listening experiences that encourage audience members to engage with their performers.

We are passionate about microphones and take care to match the correct model to each source. This ensures instruments and voices are reproduced as accurately as possible.

In addition to supplying sound equipment, we can also source top-line instruments and backline should they be required.

Live Sound for Musical Theatre

We have extensive experience engineering sound for musical theatre productions - and can confidently take the entire sound department off your plate, delivering you results you will be proud of.

We can source and arrange delivery of top-quality sound equipment including radio mics for your cast, provide instrument mics for the live band or orchestra and suitable mixing consoles with full scene-recall capabilities.

Time in the venue is both limited and expensive and we understand that. That is why we will regularly engage with the production and creative team to ensure that planning is accurate and days in the venue are productive.

From design to delivery, we can take care of all things sound allowing you to focus your energy elsewhere.

We really listen

It's our job to make good sonic decisions, but we will always take the time to hear your thoughts or desires about how you want to sound.

We understand it's your performance. Utlimately, our goal is to deliver your material to your audience as you intend it to be received.

Qualified and experienced

JR Richardson and Janja Heathfield have over 20 years of combined industry experience having graduated with a Batchelor of Audio Production (SIT & SAE) in 2009 and 2008 respectively.

Their engineering credits, which are listed below, should hopefully speak for themselves.

Live Recording

Live recordings have become more cost-effective with modern portable recorders and especially the advent of digital consoles.
